New cassette tape drive cover (tape bay bottom/base plate), for use in the following Bang & Olufsen models:

Beocord 5500
Beocord 6500
Beocord 7000
For models with autoreverse tape drive version II only.
(Tape drive version I does not have this part).
The original part is known to become immensely brittle and break easily.
It can be almost impossible to do any service to the drive without breaking the part.
In some cases the part is found to have broken just from daily use.
This is a direct replacement for original part# 3162343 (Cover for assy mechanism).
This is the black plastic tray bottom part only. All screws, rubber mounts, tape pressure arms/springs etc. from the original part are to be transferred to the new part.
